Jakarta parties late. The SCBD and Senopati area holds most of the city’s best-known rooms, from big EDM clubs to small house and techno spaces, while Kuningan and Kemang add their own regulars.

Many clubs open after 10pm and keep going well past 3am at weekends. Dress codes are strict at the bigger venues, entry often includes a drink, and the legal drinking age is 21.
