LAVVA sits on level P4 of Plaza Senayan and combines a large lounge, a bar and around 20 private karaoke suites. It opens at lunchtime as a restaurant and becomes a nightlife venue once the evening gets going.
The main room is a long, high-ceilinged space with sofa seating for about 150 people and a large screen behind the stage. Party nights usually start with a live band and move on to local DJs and MCs, with recurring themes such as 90s disco, retro nights and EDM classics.
Entry is normally free. Tables and KTV rooms are booked through WhatsApp, and karaoke rooms carry a minimum spend. Expect tax and service charges on top of menu prices. It suits groups who want dinner, a band and a dance in one place; check its Instagram for the current event programme.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.
Big night planned? Tables at the busier clubs go early on Fridays and Saturdays.
