ZoO took over the former Fable space in the Fairgrounds complex at SCBD, run by the SwillFam team behind The Swillhouse and Le Cirque. The interior carries a jungle theme, with hanging greenery, camouflage-print carpet and lounge seating set around the dancefloor.
The sound here is afrobeats and amapiano, and the team describes ZoO's programming as more experimental and free-form than its sister clubs. Guides note it draws a mix of foreigners and young Indonesians and is fairly spacious for SCBD.
Entry has been reported as free on weeknights, rising to up to IDR 250,000 on weekends or event nights. Tables can be booked for groups. A good pick if you want something other than EDM or hip-hop in SCBD and like a sociable, international crowd.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.
