Subwerk is the hard end of Bangkok's techno scene. Founded by a German expat, it grew out of the underground scene around Sukhumvit 23 and now occupies its own floor of the Decho Road building it shares with Mustache.
The music is hard techno, industrial techno and psytrance, mostly at 140bpm and up, from local residents and international guest DJs. The room is raw and unpolished. The dancefloor takes up most of the space, and there are no velvet ropes and no table culture. Some nights are run jointly with Mustache, with one ticket covering both clubs.
It opens at weekends only, Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 3:30am, and there is no dress code. Come for a sweaty, late, Berlin-flavoured night rather than a glossy club.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.

Big night planned? Tables at the busier clubs go early on Fridays and Saturdays.
