Route66 has been a fixture of Royal City Avenue for years and works as several clubs under one roof. The South room plays EDM, the East room is given over to hip-hop, and the West room hosts live bands and K-pop. A main outdoor stage is used for big occasions.
The crowd is mostly young Thais, with expats and some tourists. Nights are built around table groups and bottle sets; on special event nights tables are limited to five people and drinks are sold in sets. Big dates such as the New Year countdown and the Songkran Summer Party bring Thai artists and international guest DJs, with tickets sold at the door.
Dress is smart casual, with no open shoes, shorts, tank tops or sportswear. Bookings go through the club's LINE account (@route66).
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.

Big night planned? Tables at the busier clubs go early on Fridays and Saturdays.
