AVENUE sits below The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, with its own entrance on Bayfront Avenue behind the Sands Theatre bus stop. The room is styled like a New York penthouse: plush custom banquettes, gilded mesh and granite tables, plus a game room with mini bowling, vintage pinball and skee ball.

The regular soundtrack is hip-hop, R&B and open-format mash-ups. Wednesdays are Midweek Mystique, its ladies' night; Thursdays are VYBE, with Afrobeats, Latin and amapiano; Fridays and Saturdays lean on chart hits. Once a month the Crossfade series brings in international guest DJs.

Entry is 21 and over, and the door is smart casual: no shorts, joggers, singlets, flip-flops or sandals. It works mainly on table bookings, so it suits groups more than walk-ins.
