Exit Reality opened on 17 July 2026 above Boat Quay, taking over from Headquarters, the Thugshop techno club that closed in May 2026 after ten years. The main room holds around 100 people and is deliberately kept dark, with a Funktion-One sound system and a geometric LED ceiling grid by Layers of Time.
Programming covers underground techno, house, bass and experimental electronic sets, with local selectors and collective takeovers through the week and occasional overseas guests such as Bjarki and Connor Wall. Outside, a terrace looks over the Singapore River towards Marina Bay Sands.
It is strictly 21 and over, and tickets are cheap by Singapore standards (S$16 for a September 2026 night on Resident Advisor). Best for serious dancers who want a small, sound-focused room rather than bottle service.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.
