404 Club Not Found is the Kuala Lumpur outpost of a micro-club brand that started in China and now runs in more than 30 cities. It opened at TREC's Electric Boulevard in 2023 and keeps the brand's format: a compact, dark room with a geometric light ceiling, the DJ close to the crowd and tables packed around the floor.
The music policy is crowd-pleasing hits, with EDM, house, trap and hip-hop from residents and visiting local and international guests. It draws a young crowd, including many Chinese-speaking students and visitors.
The club opens Wednesday to Saturday, and on public holidays and their eves, from 9:30pm to 5am, which makes it one of the later options at TREC. Table reservations are by WhatsApp.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.
