La Favela has been part of Seminyak's night out since 2013. The building is a maze of salvaged furniture, chandeliers, semi-indoor gardens and ponds, and it works as a restaurant early in the evening before the floors fill up for dancing.
Music runs from live bands to DJs playing hip-hop, R&B, house and classics, with lasers over a crowded main floor on busy nights. Upstairs, the Attika room on the third floor runs Thursday to Saturday from 10pm with house, techno and more underground sets. Salsa and themed events also appear on the calendar.
Dinner tables and party bookings are both taken through the website, with group bookings available. It suits mixed groups who want dinner, drinks and dancing in one place without leaving Jalan Laksamana.
Line-ups and door prices shift weekly; a club's Instagram is usually the most current source.
